This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Greece.

📋 Description

• Advocate for an AI-first testing culture by incorporating AI/ML-driven tools into the processes of test design, execution, maintenance, and defect analysis.

• Leverage AI-assisted tools to expedite test authoring, enhance coverage, and minimize test-script maintenance efforts.

• Create, validate, refine, and take ownership of test cases based on requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria using LLMs and AI assistants.

• Utilize AI-driven visual testing and self-healing automation techniques to diminish flakiness and sustain robust test suites.

• Examine logs and anomalies to detect patterns that precede failures in production or staging environments.

• Assess customer-reported defects and employ AI-powered automation strategies to avert future occurrences.

• Act as the quality champion of the team by providing customer-focused feedback on the product and its documentation.

• Work in collaboration with product managers, developers, UX/UI designers, and SDETs to identify test scenarios and guarantee comprehensive coverage.

• Establish risk-based test coverage for backend and engineering stories.

• Conduct functionality, integration, end-to-end, performance, and regression testing throughout various release phases.

• Set up, maintain, and enhance AI-enabled test automation frameworks for Web, Desktop, and Mobile applications.

• Write and sustain automation code for both front-end and back-end, including testing non-deterministic Agentic AI responses.

• Develop automation for customer use cases and reported defects.

• Contribute to API/integration testing, UI automation, TDD, ATDD, and code quality tooling.

• Troubleshoot and resolve CI/CD pipeline issues utilizing AI-based observability tools.

• Execute database querying and log analysis to investigate root causes.

• Disseminate knowledge through workshops and learning sessions focused on AI tools, testing innovations, and SDET development.

• Assess and integrate AI-powered testing tools and methodologies, advocating for team utilization.

• Enhance team processes, tooling, and product quality through intelligent automation.

• Document test strategies, automation processes, and decisions regarding AI tools.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline.

• 2–5 years of experience in SDET or quality engineering positions, with proven exposure to AI-assisted testing or tooling.

• Strong grasp of the SDLC, STLC, and contemporary software testing methodologies.

• Proficient in Java, Python, and/or JavaScript/TypeScript, capable of writing, reviewing, and debugging automation code at scale.

• Practical experience with Playwright or Selenium for UI and API testing.

• Familiarity with LLMs or AI assistants (such as ChatGPT, Claude, or Copilot) to accelerate test authoring, code review, or defect analysis.

• Understanding of TDD, BDD, and ATDD, and their integration into CI/CD pipelines.

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, including triaging, stabilizing, and enhancing build and deployment processes.

• Knowledge of database querying and log/anomaly analysis, including AI-assisted observability platforms.

• Capacity to critically assess AI-generated test output by validating, refining, and taking ownership of it.

• Ability to debug complex issues in both manually written and AI-generated automation code.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, including clear documentation of AI tool decisions, and the discernment to seek help when necessary.
