This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Carolina.
• Act as the Scrum Master and Agile facilitator for the diverse project team.
• Organize daily stand-ups, Sprint Planning, backlog refinement, Sprint Reviews, Retrospectives, and other Agile ceremonies.
• Mentor team members on Scrum principles, Agile methodologies, collaboration, transparency, and ongoing improvement.
• Recognize, monitor, and assist in eliminating obstacles that impact team delivery.
• Collaborate with the Product Owner and technical leads to sustain a prioritized and actionable product backlog.
• Monitor sprint progress, commitments, dependencies, risks, and delivery results.
• Assist project leadership with status updates, delivery metrics, risk identification, and issue escalation.
• Evaluate workflows, reports, user interfaces, audit processes, and data handling activities to identify SSN usage and dependencies.
• Lead requirements elicitation sessions with Government stakeholders, end users, Product Owners, developers, security teams, and subject matter experts.
• Create business and technical requirements that support SSN removal and the transition to approved enterprise identifiers.
• Convert requirements into user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, and backlog items.
• Perform gap analyses and document current and future business processes.
• Ensure requirements are comprehensive, testable, traceable, and aligned with project goals.
• Facilitate communication among business stakeholders, technical teams, QA personnel, and Government leadership.
• Work with technical leads to confirm requirement feasibility and identify technical dependencies.
• Collaborate with QA personnel to establish acceptance criteria, test scenarios, and User Acceptance Testing strategies.
• Aid in User Acceptance Testing by coordinating with business stakeholders and validating the delivered functionalities.
• Ensure clarity of requirements and assist in resolving scope, design, and implementation inquiries.
• Confirm that requirements address PII/PHI protection, SSN reduction, and privacy and security goals.
• Partner with security and privacy stakeholders to integrate NIST and VA compliance requirements into project specifications and acceptance criteria.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Healthcare Administration, Information Technology, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Scrum Master, Business Analyst, or a combination of both roles within healthcare IT or complex enterprise settings.
• Proven experience in eliciting, analyzing, documenting, and managing both business and technical requirements.
• Skilled in developing user stories, acceptance criteria, workflow diagrams, process maps, and gap analyses.
• Experience in facilitating Agile ceremonies and supporting Scrum-based software development teams.
• Proficient in collaborating with technical, business, QA, and customer stakeholders throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Knowledge of Scrum and Agile software development.
• Experience in requirements elicitation and analysis.
• Ability to develop user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Expertise in backlog refinement and management.
• Competence in business process mapping.
• Familiarity with requirements traceability.
• Experience with User Acceptance Testing.
• Proficient in Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar Agile management platforms.
• U.S. Citizenship is mandatory.
• All selected candidates must successfully complete a background investigation.
• Capability to obtain and maintain a Government/Public Trust clearance, including necessary fingerprinting, if required for the position.
