Business Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.

📋 Description

• Create, produce, and evaluate data-driven reports to enhance business operations and special projects.

• Develop and generate reports, dashboards, and visualizations for business functionality.

• Examine trends, patterns, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to deliver actionable insights.

• Ensure data integrity, precision, and consistency within reporting.

• Use SQL, Excel, Power BI, Tableau, and other analytics tools to extract and manipulate data.

• Perform statistical analysis to aid in data-driven decision-making.

• Simplify complex data into clear, comprehensible reports for stakeholders.

• Support the development, implementation, and enhancement of business information systems.

• Oversee data structures, queries, and reporting tools to fulfill business requirements.

• Collaborate closely with IT teams to guarantee data availability and system performance.

• Document business processes, data sources, and reporting techniques.

• Spot inefficiencies and potential areas for process improvement.

• Propose enhancements to data collection, storage, and analysis practices.

• Work with cross-functional teams, business stakeholders, and IT to comprehend reporting requirements.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree (Mandatory)

• At least 3 years of experience in Business Analysis, Data Analytics, Reporting, or a related area (Mandatory)

• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, data analysis, and reporting (Mandatory)

• Experience handling large datasets across various databases and data sources (Mandatory)

• Strong expertise in data reconciliation, validation, and quality assurance to maintain data accuracy and integrity (Mandatory)

• Practical experience in creating dashboards and reports using Microsoft Power BI (Mandatory)

• Familiarity with Business Intelligence (BI) tools, SQL querying, and reporting platforms (Mandatory)

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking abilities to convert data into actionable business insights.

• Strong communication and stakeholder collaboration skills, capable of presenting findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Experience in supporting business process improvement initiatives and data-driven decision-making.

• Knowledge of healthcare, finance, or enterprise data environments is advantageous.
