Senior Business Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.

📋 Description

• Collect and organize requirements directly from the Finance, Operations, Quality, Sales, HR, and Engineering departments.

• Define business rules, data validation logic, and Key Performance Indicator (KPI) definitions.

• Deliver structured requirements to the Data Product Manager and the engineering team.

• Create process maps, data flow diagrams, and acceptance criteria for items in the backlog.

• Assist with user acceptance testing of certified data products prior to sign-off.

• Aid in identifying and scoping data sources alongside the Data Engineer Lead.

• Support domain stewardship and maintain lineage documentation.

• Facilitate the onboarding process for business users pertaining to newly certified data products.

• Collaborate across various domains based on backlog priorities.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in requirements elicitation and business analysis, including the definition of business rules and KPIs.

• Understanding of agile methodologies and backlog organization.

• Data literacy: ability to convert business rules into validation logic for a data engineering team.

• Expertise in process mapping and creating data flow diagrams.

• Proficiency in English (B2+ level), with direct experience engaging with business stakeholders.

• Previous involvement in data projects, especially in data migration, is highly desirable.

• Familiarity with ERP systems like Infor SyteLine or experience with manufacturing and operations data is a plus.

• Background in a regulated sector such as medical devices, pharmaceuticals, or a similar ISO-governed environment is advantageous.

• Knowledge of process mapping tools such as BPMN is a desirable asset.
