Science Instructor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Conduct online group lessons for 2 to 6 students.

• Instruct AP Chemistry utilizing existing teaching resources.

• Ensure a comprehensive understanding of the subject matter.

• Evaluate and grade students' performance during class.

• Offer constructive feedback to promote academic growth.

• Complete the curriculum within specified timelines.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in the relevant subject area.

• A Master's degree or Ph.D./EdD is preferred.

• At least 1 year of teaching experience in the relevant subject area.

• High school teaching experience is seen as beneficial.

• Availability to provide 2 to 3 time slots during weekdays.

• A collaborative attitude when working with staff.

• A strong passion for teaching.

• Flexibility in schedule for evenings and weekends.

• Availability during Pacific Time from 6:00 pm to 8:30 pm, either 3 times per week (Sunday, Tuesday, Thursday; minimum of 7.5 hours per week) or 2 times per week (Monday, Wednesday; minimum of 5 hours per week).

• Possession of tools such as a tablet or stylus to aid in explaining problem-solving to students.
