This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Deliver both direct and indirect social work services to students and their families across elementary, middle, and high school levels.
• Provide Tier 2 and Tier 3 counseling services to support mild to moderate and at-risk student populations.
• Collaborate with school and IEP teams to create customized treatment plans and IEPs featuring measurable social work objectives.
• Share insights with staff regarding cultural, familial, and societal influences on student behavior, academic success, and overall well-being.
• Develop positive behavioral strategies and facilitate mental health and behavioral interventions.
• Monitor progress using Panorama and conduct psycho-educational evaluations as needed based on caseload demands.
• Offer guidance and support to parents to help ensure successful adjustment to school.
• Educate school staff on behavior management techniques and provide direct assistance as necessary.
• Current Clinical Social Worker license (LCSW) is required.
• Valid certification or license for K-12 School Social Work in Georgia (GA SSW) is necessary.
• At least one year of full-time, on-site school social work experience, excluding internships, is essential.
• Proven expertise across all domains of the National SSW Practice Model.
• Proficiency in Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) frameworks, counseling, and psycho-educational evaluations.
• Strong communication skills to effectively engage with diverse student populations, families, and school personnel.
• Preferred experience with telehealth services utilizing virtual meeting platforms.
• Familiarity with Panorama software for data collection, monitoring progress, and tracking surveys is required.
• Access to a private, secure workspace equipped with a reliable computer, webcam, and high-speed internet connection.
• Availability for full-time work (1.0 FTE) totaling 37.5 hours per week, aligned with standard Georgia school hours (EST).
• Completion of Parallel onboarding prior to the start date of the assignment.
• Proficiency in additional languages is a significant advantage.
