School Psychologist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +3 more states.

📋 Description

• Administer, score, and interpret cognitive, behavioral, and social-emotional assessments utilizing approved tele-assessment tools and virtual observation protocols.

• Facilitate virtual multidisciplinary evaluation team (MET) meetings to assess special education eligibility and formulate data-driven service recommendations.

• Prepare thorough electronic evaluation reports that incorporate multiple data sources while adhering to state and federal timelines.

• Conduct virtual observations, functional behavioral assessments (FBA), and environmental analyses.

• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to create evidence-based academic and behavioral interventions.

• Lead virtual IEP and MTSS meetings, guiding data-informed decision-making processes.

• Provide virtual professional development focused on mental health, behavioral supports, and RTI/MTSS frameworks.

• Consult with campus leadership during crisis situations and threat assessment procedures; assist in developing safety plans and post-crisis strategies.

• Deliver virtual individual and group counseling and social-emotional support in alignment with IEP and Section 504 plans.

• Implement behavior intervention plans (BIP) and support progress monitoring in online learning environments.

• Conduct virtual student observations and consultations to guide intervention planning.

• Offer remote crisis intervention assistance and support post-incident recovery planning.

• Maintain confidential electronic counseling notes and documentation of progress.

• Ensure compliance with IDEA, FERPA, HIPAA, state-specific regulations, and professional standards in all services provided.

• Maintain evaluation, counseling, and IEP documentation in accordance with required timelines and procedures.

• Uphold professional boundaries and confidentiality in all remote interactions and digital platforms.

• Engage in ongoing professional development and carry out additional assigned responsibilities.

⛳️ Requirements

• Master’s degree or higher in Education, School Psychology, or a related field.

• Valid state-specific certification or credential allowing practice as a School Psychologist in the states where services are delivered.

• Candidates must reside in AZ, NV, TX, or SC to be eligible.

• Must pass a criminal history background check.

• Experience in conducting psycho-educational evaluations is preferred.

• Familiarity with IDEA and K-8 programming for special education is preferred.

• Educational Specialist degree or higher is preferred.

• Must maintain active licensure in the states providing services.

• Must stay updated with tele-practice standards, ethical guidelines, and advancing virtual assessment methodologies.

• Ability to sit for extended periods, view digital materials, and engage professionally through video conferencing is necessary.

• Must have secure internet, a webcam, and compliant tele-practice technology in a home office setting.

• Occasional in-person professional development and travel to campuses may be required.
