This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +1 more state.
β’ Support the scheduling and operations of contact center activities.
β’ Respond to incoming calls to arrange appointments for both new and returning patients across all locations.
β’ Gather and record patient medical history in the electronic medical record (EMR) system.
β’ Carry out additional tasks as assigned and as requirements change.
β’ Deliver administrative and patient support through virtual technologies to optimize healthcare workflows and enhance patient experiences.
β’ High school diploma or an equivalent qualification.
β’ Preferred healthcare-specific training, though not mandatory.
β’ Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
β’ Capacity to uphold strict patient confidentiality and comply with US HIPAA regulations and other pertinent laws.
β’ Dependable high-speed internet connection necessary.
β’ A quiet and private working environment is required.
β’ A friendly, courteous, and professional attitude is essential.
β’ Compassion and a nurturing approach towards patients.
β’ Self-driven, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently.
β’ Derick Dermatology will supply the necessary work-from-home equipment, including a secure laptop, monitor, headset, and webcam (the equipment provided may vary based on job function).
