This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama.
• Support the scheduling and operations of the contact center.
• Handle incoming calls to arrange appointments for both new and returning patients across all locations.
• Gather and record patient medical histories in the electronic medical record (EMR) system.
• Offer extensive administrative and patient support services through virtual technologies.
• Provide prompt and precise information, scheduling, and assistance.
• Carry out additional tasks as assigned and as requirements change.
• Must reside in Alabama.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Healthcare-related training is preferred but not mandatory.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential.
• Must exhibit empathy and a compassionate attitude towards patients.
• Self-driven and detail-oriented individuals are encouraged to apply.
• Ability to work independently is necessary.
• Must maintain strict confidentiality of patient information and comply with US HIPAA laws and other applicable regulations.
• A reliable high-speed internet connection is required.
• A quiet and private workspace is essential for this role.
• Required working hours: Monday through Friday from 8am–4pm CST or 9am–5pm CST, plus one Saturday per month from 6:45am to 12:45pm.
• Derick Dermatology supplies necessary work-from-home equipment, including a secure laptop, monitor, headset, and webcam.
• Option for remote work is available.
