Scheduler / Planner – Data Center Construction, Portuguese Speaking

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Mexico.

📋 Description

• Assist in managing intricate, large-scale data center construction initiatives across various regional subregions.

• Provide support for North America and LATAM regions.

• Oversee integrated planning and scheduling for large-scale data center construction endeavors.

• Create, maintain, and enhance comprehensive schedules, track milestones, manage dependencies, make resource assumptions, and generate schedule reporting outputs.

• Utilize critical path method scheduling to evaluate schedule logic, recognize trends, and communicate risks, impacts, mitigations, and recovery strategies.

• Collaborate with client teams, project stakeholders, delivery partners, and contractors to ensure that planning outputs align with project execution requirements.

• Handle multiple project schedules concurrently while ensuring accuracy, consistency, and prompt reporting.

• Prepare clear schedule updates for project leadership and senior stakeholders, tailoring the level of detail to suit the audience.

• Comply with SOX control responsibilities as applicable.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient in spoken Portuguese.

• Over 7 years of advanced planning and scheduling experience using Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project.

• Background in supporting design and construction project management for medium to large capital programs.

• Experience in planning capital projects within the $500MM to $2B+ range, ideally in data center construction or similar process-intensive industries.

• In-depth knowledge of critical path method scheduling, schedule health analysis, and schedule risk identification.

• Capability to analyze EPC plans and schedules, identify trends, and communicate mitigation strategies effectively.

• Ability to work independently, tackle problems, and function efficiently in a fast-paced project environment.

• Strong executive communication skills, including the ability to present detailed schedule data in concise summaries suitable for leadership.

• Preferred: experience in data center design and construction delivery.

• Preferred: familiarity with schedule risk analysis and related planning tools.

• Preferred: experience in executive reporting, recovery planning, or schedule governance within complex capital programs.
