This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Review and enhance project schedules based on plans and specifications.
• Integrate budgeted funds, quantities, and labor resources into the schedules.
• Combine subcontractor and vendor schedules for the timely delivery of services, equipment, and materials.
• Regularly update and modify schedules to reflect actual progress, delays, and other influences.
• Monitor actual start and finish dates, remaining durations, installed quantities, labor hours, and related costs.
• Account for revisions in drawings, designs, and deliveries.
• Create and sustain the project cost code framework and schedule WPS.
• Manage cost- and resource-loaded schedules effectively.
• Generate cash flow, hourly shutdown, and outage schedules.
• Compile weekly reports on quantities, SPI, CPI, EV, and manpower.
• Counsel the Superintendent and Project Manager on subcontractor and vendor performance.
• Oversee and coordinate costing and scheduling tasks.
• Execute Graycor's performance monitoring system along with other necessary monitoring systems.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, or a related field.
• At least four (4) years of relevant construction experience, ideally in the heavy industrial sector.
• Previous experience and a proven track record in tracking field progress, generating SPI, CPI, EV, and manpower reports, as well as reviewing contractor programs for compliance with contract documents.
• Knowledge and appreciation of industry and safety standards.
• Capability to manage competing priorities in a dynamic environment.
• Proficient in multitasking with a sense of urgency while ensuring strong attention to detail and precision.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Professional interaction skills with managers, colleagues, subcontractors, and construction craft workers.
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and work independently.
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
• Advanced computer skills in scheduling, cost management software, and Microsoft Office.
• Experience with Primavera P6 is advantageous.
• Willingness to travel extensively and temporarily stay at the project site for extended periods, with travel home provided every other weekend.
