Scheduler

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Create, sustain, and revise comprehensive project schedules for construction initiatives.

• Establish baseline schedules for projects.

• Collaborate with project teams, managers, superintendents, contractors, and clients to gather status updates and synchronize schedules.

• Monitor and record project progress.

• Produce scheduling and status reports.

• Assist senior schedulers with schedule evaluations.

• Record schedule modifications, change orders, delays, and adjustments.

• Identify risks to project schedules and recommend mitigation strategies.

• Lead schedule reviews and project update meetings.

• Conduct critical path analysis.

• Aid in resource allocation and forecasting schedules.

• Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and regulatory standards throughout the construction process.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or a related discipline is required.

• Demonstrated experience as a construction scheduler or in a comparable position within the construction sector.

• Strong understanding of construction processes, project management principles, and scheduling methodologies.

• Expertise in scheduling software such as P6 or Primavera along with Microsoft Office Suite.

• Exceptional organizational and time management abilities.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to foresee and alleviate scheduling conflicts.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Capability to manage multiple projects concurrently in a dynamic environment.

• Familiarity with construction industry standards, terminology, and regulatory requirements.

• Ability to work in both office settings and on construction sites.

• Willingness to work extended hours, including evenings or weekends, if required.
