SAS Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Construct, configure, and deploy SAS components and workloads on designated cloud platforms

• Create and enhance SAS data flows, ETL procedures, and migration scripts

• Carry out data migration, validation, reconciliation, and cleansing tasks

• Assist in testing, defect resolution, troubleshooting, and technical documentation throughout the migration process

• Partner with subject matter experts, architects, and delivery teams

• Achieve migration milestones and project goals

• Facilitate the migration of SAS workloads, data pipelines, and related processes to contemporary cloud-based data platforms

• Guarantee data quality, integrity, and successful business results

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience in SAS engineering, development, and administration

• Demonstrated proficiency in ETL development, data integration, and implementation of data pipelines

• Familiarity with data migration, validation, reconciliation, and data quality workflows

• Scripting skills with the capability to automate migration and transformation tasks

• Experience with cloud-based data platforms and modern data architectures

• Familiarity with Talend, SSIS, DataStage, or Informatica is preferred

• Understanding of Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform is preferred

• Must be eligible to acquire and retain SC clearance

• Located in the UK
