SAP Technical Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Collect, assess, and convert business requirements into effective technical solutions.

• Set up and provide support for SAP document management and archiving systems.

• Create, improve, troubleshoot, and maintain ABAP objects.

• Design, build, and support SAP integrations utilizing RFC, BAPI, IDoc, APIs, and SAP BTP.

• Configure and tailor SAP solutions in accordance with customer and business needs.

• Manage SAP transports across DEV, QA, and PROD environments.

• Assist with system integration testing (SIT), user acceptance testing (UAT), and production rollouts.

• Diagnose and resolve technical and integration challenges alongside customers and internal technical teams.

• Collaborate with business users, functional consultants, developers, and technical teams.

• Document technical solutions, configurations, integrations, and troubleshooting methods.

• Provide technical advice and support throughout the implementation and ongoing support phases.

• Take responsibility for issues and ensure they are followed through to resolution.

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience with SAP ECC and/or SAP S/4HANA.

• Proficient in ABAP development, debugging, and troubleshooting.

• Familiarity with SAP functional modules such as FI, MM, SD, or related fields.

• Knowledge of SAP configuration and customization.

• Experience in SAP integration technologies, including RFC, IDoc, BAPI, and APIs.

• Proficiency with SAP BTP and Integration Suite.

• Experience in SAP document management technologies such as ArchiveLink, KPro, or SAP DMS.

• Understanding of SAP transport management and system landscapes across DEV, QA, and PROD.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Excellent communication and customer interaction skills.

• Capability to comprehend business requirements and convert them into technical solutions.

• Ability to work independently while cooperating with distributed technical and business teams.

• Comfortable working across various time zones and collaborating with international teams.

• Preference for candidates in the EU region; candidates outside the EU may be considered if they can work during EU business hours or maintain significant overlap with EU time zones.
