SAP Technical Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Collect, assess, and convert business requirements into effective technical solutions

• Set up and maintain SAP document management and archiving systems

• Create, improve, troubleshoot, and support ABAP objects

• Design, build, and maintain SAP integrations utilizing RFC, BAPI, IDoc, APIs, and SAP BTP

• Configure and tailor SAP solutions to meet customer and business needs

• Manage SAP transports across DEV, QA, and PROD environments

• Assist with system integration testing (SIT), user acceptance testing (UAT), and production rollouts

• Diagnose and resolve technical and integration challenges alongside customers and internal technical teams

• Collaborate with business users, functional consultants, developers, and other technical groups

• Document technical solutions, configurations, integrations, and troubleshooting methodologies

• Offer technical support and guidance throughout the implementation and ongoing maintenance phases

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient SAP Technical Consultant / SAP Technical Specialist

• Experience with SAP ECC and/or SAP S/4HANA

• Strong proficiency in ABAP development, debugging, and troubleshooting

• Familiarity with SAP functional modules such as FI, MM, SD, or related fields

• Experience in SAP configuration and customization

• Knowledge of SAP integration technologies, including RFC, IDoc, BAPI, and APIs

• Experience with SAP BTP and Integration Suite

• Familiarity with SAP document management technologies like ArchiveLink, KPro, or SAP DMS

• Understanding of SAP transport management and system landscapes across DEV, QA, and PROD

• Excellent analytical and troubleshooting capabilities

• Strong communication and customer interaction skills

• Ability to comprehend business needs and convert them into technical solutions

• Capability to work independently while effectively collaborating with distributed technical and business teams

• Willingness to maintain significant overlap with European time zones

• Comfort with working across time zones and collaborating with global teams
