Functional SAP Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.

📋 Description

• Collaborate closely with business partners and Product Owners to implement application modifications.

• Engage in requirements gathering, business analysis, fit-gap analysis, system testing, documentation, and training for end-users.

• Develop use cases, user stories, and requirements/specification documents.

• Provide functional specifications and work in conjunction with Software Engineers specializing in ABAP, PCF, and Fiori.

• Facilitate and assist with functional, security, integration, and user acceptance testing on the SAP platform.

• Aid in cutover, data profiling, data extraction, and data cleansing initiatives.

• Execute SAP configuration tasks.

• Assess integration needs and collaborate with legacy non-SAP systems.

• Offer production support for features that have been launched.

• Design, develop, test, and maintain software applications and products tailored to customer requirements within the IERP Program.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 10 years of experience in IT.

• More than 6 years of functional expertise in SAP Material Management, covering requisitioning to ordering, Directed Tier 2, sub-contracting, and intra-company processes.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems or a related discipline.

• Experience with at least one complete life cycle of S4 HANA and Fiori implementation.

• Proficient in S4 HANA and Fiori implementation.

• Strong hands-on and root-cause analysis abilities.

• Excellent interpersonal skills and strong communication abilities.

• Must have legal authorization to work in the United States.

• Visa sponsorship is not available.

• Familiarity with ABAP is advantageous.

• Relevant SAP Certification is a plus.

• Experience in the automotive/manufacturing industry is preferred.

• Knowledge of Ariba Sourcing, Supply Chain Collaboration, and S/4 integrations is preferred.
