SAP Public Sector Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Assist with SAP public-sector initiatives and, upon contract award, manage associated functional workstreams.

• Align agency finance, procurement, payroll, or grants processes with SAP public-sector modules.

• Organize configuration, testing, data migration, and implementation for the relevant modules you are familiar with.

• Convert agency requirements into a staffing strategy and past-performance narrative for proposals, only if the candidate has permitted naming.

• Provide guidance on integrations between SAP and existing finance, HR, or procurement systems.

• Create training and go-live readiness materials for agency personnel.

• Identify gaps in scope, data, or agency preparedness before a proposal commits to them.

⛳️ Requirements

• Practical SAP delivery experience for a government or public-sector entity, serving as a functional lead or senior consultant.

• Expertise in at least one of the SAP public-sector domains: finance, procurement, payroll, grants, or funds management.

• Proven experience with testing, data migration, and implementation on an SAP project.

• Capable of articulating your contributions in a proposal narrative without inflating your role.

• Comfortable working as a 1099 project-based collaborator, including occasional travel to client sites.

• Prior SAP work for a city, county, state, school district, or utility (preferred).

• A current or previous SAP certification relevant to the aforementioned modules (preferred).
