SAP Project Manager – Solution Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Egypt, +2 more countries.

📋 Description

• Lead comprehensive SAP cloud implementation, migration, and transformation initiatives.

• Define and manage the overarching SAP solution architecture in accordance with both business and technical specifications.

• Oversee project scope, timelines, budgets, resources, risks, and deliverables.

• Collaborate closely with business stakeholders, technical teams, SAP consultants, and third-party vendors.

• Design scalable and secure SAP cloud solutions while ensuring adherence to SAP best practices.

• Provide technical leadership and direction throughout the entire project lifecycle.

• Guarantee successful integration between SAP and other enterprise/cloud platforms.

• Identify technical risks, dependencies, and potential challenges, and formulate suitable mitigation strategies.

• Coordinate with SAP and cloud technology teams to facilitate seamless implementation and go-live processes.

• Ensure that project documentation, architecture documentation, and technical standards are consistently maintained.

• Assist in presales activities, solution design, estimations, and client presentations as needed.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.

• Over 8 years of experience in SAP, with substantial involvement in SAP implementation/transformation projects.

• Demonstrated experience as an SAP Project Manager, SAP Solution Architect, or in a hybrid Project Manager/Solution Architect capacity.

• Extensive experience with SAP Cloud solutions and cloud transformation initiatives.

• Familiarity with SAP S/4HANA Cloud and preferably SAP BTP.

• Strong grasp of SAP architecture, integrations, security, and cloud technologies.

• Proven experience managing complex SAP projects from planning through to implementation and go-live.

• Exceptional stakeholder and client management abilities.

• Excellent communication and leadership skills.

• A valid SAP Cloud certification is required.

• The candidate must possess a recognized and current SAP cloud certification, preferably related to SAP S/4HANA Cloud, SAP BTP, or SAP Cloud Architecture.

• The candidate must be able to provide a valid copy/certificate number as evidence of certification.

• SAP Activate certification is preferred.

• PMP or PRINCE2 certification is preferred.

• TOGAF or another enterprise architecture certification is preferred.

• Experience with SAP BTP, integrations, APIs, and cloud security is preferred.

• Experience working on large-scale SAP transformation programs is preferred.
