SAP Procurement Functional Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Oversee comprehensive implementation and enhancement initiatives that support procurement Source-to-Order processes.

• Conduct workshops for business process design and sessions for gathering requirements.

• Convert business requirements into functional specifications and solution designs.

• Manage the scope of projects, associated risks, dependencies, testing, deployment, and hypercare activities.

• Promote continuous improvement with a focus on efficiency, user experience, automation, and compliance.

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to define future-state procurement capabilities and strategic roadmaps.

• Take ownership of SAP Ariba Buying/Guided Buying, Catalog Management, Approval Workflows, Supplier Lifecycle Management & Risk Management, Spend Analytics, and Taxonomy.

• Lead processes related to SAP Business Network and Commerce Automation for procurement collaboration.

• Design and facilitate purchase orders, purchase order confirmations, advance shipping notices, supplier onboarding, and integration strategies for suppliers.

• Serve as the procurement functional expert for SAP S/4HANA Materials Management.

• Collaborate with teams from MM, Finance, Supply Chain, Master Data, Enterprise Architecture, technical teams, vendors, and system integrators.

• Review integration designs and provide functional oversight during testing and defect resolution.

• Coordinate activities of software vendors and system integrators while reviewing deliverables.

• Lead SIT, UAT, regression testing, deployment planning, release assessments, and ensure production readiness.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

• Over 10 years of functional experience in SAP Procurement.

• More than 7 years of experience with SAP Ariba.

• Proven experience in delivering enterprise software projects within manufacturing, supply chain, procurement, or operations settings.

• Demonstrated experience in collaborating with external software vendors and system integrators.

• Experience in supporting global or multi-site deployments.

• Functional expertise in procurement, sourcing, supplier collaboration, supplier lifecycle management and risk, and SAP Business Network with Commerce Automation.

• Proficient in SAP Ariba Buying/Guided Buying, Catalog Management, Approval Workflows, Supplier Lifecycle Management & Risk Management, Spend Analytics, and Taxonomy.

• Experience with SAP Business Network, Commerce Automation, Supplier Enablement, Supplier Collaboration, and Requisition-to-Purchase Order processes.

• Familiarity with SAP S/4HANA Materials Management (MM) and integrations involving vendor/material master data, purchase requisitions, purchase orders, goods receipts, service entry sheets, invoice processing, and approval workflows.

• Experience with SAP Cloud Integration Gateway (CIG), SAP Business Network, OpenText VIM, SAP Datasphere, Spend Intelligence platforms, and Contract Lifecycle Management solutions.

• Proven ability in leading SIT, UAT, regression testing, deployment planning, and SAP release assessments.
