SAP Principal Pre-Sales, Delivery Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Take charge of the functional and architectural strategy across multiple simultaneous SAP projects.

• Coordinate functional, technical, data, and AI-driven workstreams.

• Convert customer outcomes into solutions that can be delivered via the Tessera AI platform and provide product insights.

• Establish measurable customer value targets prior to execution and monitor them throughout delivery.

• Collaborate with Forward Deployed Engineers, Tessera AI agents, customer architects, and Technical Program Managers.

• Drive solution definition during initial discussions with customers and partners.

• Shape opportunities, including the approach, effort, and risk assessment, before scoping.

• Own the SAP solution narratives included in proposals and statements of work.

• Incorporate field insights into ongoing engagements and Tessera Product strategies.

• Contribute SAP domain expertise to enhance Tessera platform agents.

• Manage and evaluate customer platform adoption; eliminate workarounds and tackle adoption obstacles.

• Cultivate customer advocates to ensure ongoing platform utilization.

• Assess the skills, sequencing, and duration of the engagement team.

• Utilize evidence to appropriately size engagement teams and guide Center of Excellence capacity planning.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven track record of ownership in solutioning through key roles during SAP enterprise software and services engagement sales cycles, covering scope, approach, effort, and risk.

• Demonstrated capability to coordinate delivery teams across functional, technical, and data workstreams on multiple concurrent projects.

• Senior-level client-facing presence with customer architects, business owners, and finance stakeholders.

• History of promoting customer adoption beyond the go-live phase.

• Over 15 years of experience in enterprise transformation with a foundation in SAP, including ECC and S/4HANA.

• Expertise in Finance, Logistics, supply chain, and order management processes.

• Experience with multiple end-to-end SAP S/4HANA implementations across Greenfield, Brownfield, and Selective Data Transition methods.

• Strong technical architecture knowledge encompassing integration patterns, data architecture, SAP landscapes, SAP BTP, and non-SAP integrations.

• Solid understanding of the SAP Business AI roadmap.

• Ability to evaluate and justify engagement staffing levels using data.

• Quick learner with the capability to achieve fluency in the Tessera platform within the initial months.

• Exceptional verbal and written business English skills along with strong presentation capabilities.

• Experience leading distributed delivery teams across onshore, nearshore, and offshore locations.

• Bachelor's degree in a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

• Proficiency in Spanish, Portuguese, or German is an advantage.

• Preferred qualifications: experience with various enterprise suites, SAP S/4HANA transition strategies, AI/automation/RPA tools, and familiarity with the SAP partner and co-sell ecosystem, including RISE with SAP, SAP Activate, and SAP certifications.
