SAP Pricing, Input Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Ensure that supplier price books, standard parts pricing, labor-related pricing inputs, and other authorized pricing data are kept accurate and up-to-date.

• Gather, organize, review, and prepare pricing updates for entry or upload into SAP and related systems.

• Handle individual parts and pricing requests according to established approval and documentation standards.

• Verify pricing inputs against supplier information, authorized price books, effective dates, part numbers, descriptions, units of measure, and necessary fields.

• Monitor changes in manufacturer and supplier pricing, discontinued items, new items, substitutions, and other updates that impact estimating or purchasing.

• Enter, manage, and support pricing-related master data in SAP, SAP CPQ, or designated templates and repositories.

• Conduct data quality reviews and reconcile system pricing with supplier price books and authorized source documentation.

• Maintain audit trails and documentation for pricing changes, approvals, effective dates, and follow-up items.

• Collaborate with SAP master-data and ERP teams to submit approved updates and verify successful processing.

• Assist with data loads, testing, validation, and post-update reviews during SAP enhancements, releases, and Divisional go-lives.

• Act as a point of contact for Divisions and internal stakeholders concerning pricing inputs, data requirements, and update status.

• Work alongside procurement and suppliers to acquire current price books, pricing notices, product information, and supporting documentation.

• Collaborate with sales, estimating, finance, operations, and purchasing to comprehend pricing data usage and downstream effects.

• Address inquiries and investigate pricing-related issues.

• Communicate standardized procedures and promote consistent pricing input practices across Divisions.

• Generate status reports, issue logs, reconciliation summaries, and other management reports.

• Adhere to policies, procedures, internal controls, approval requirements, and data governance standards.

• Identify and propose enhancements to pricing input workflows, templates, controls, documentation, and reporting.

• Contribute to standard operating procedures and job aids for pricing administration.

• Safeguard confidential supplier, pricing, financial, and company information.

• Engage in special projects and perform other assigned job-related tasks.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, supply chain, information systems, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered.

• Three to five years of experience in pricing administration, master data management, purchasing, procurement operations, ERP support, data analysis, or a related area.

• Proficiency in working with SAP, SAP CPQ, another ERP system, or structured pricing/master-data processes.

• Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including sorting, filtering, lookups, formulas, data validation, and large data set reconciliation.

• Ability to maintain precise records and manage repetitive, detail-oriented tasks with a high level of consistency.

• Capability to review source documentation, identify discrepancies, investigate root causes, and resolve issues.

• Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and adhere to deadlines.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to interact with suppliers, internal stakeholders, and technical teams.

• Ability to work independently while contributing effectively as part of a cross-functional team.

• Positive, service-oriented attitude and eagerness to assist stakeholders across a growing national organization.

• Experience in maintaining supplier price books, parts catalogs, material masters, labor rates, or similar commercial data.

• Experience supporting SAP S/4HANA, SAP CPQ, SAP Ariba, SAP Materials Management, or related SAP processes.

• Familiarity with purchasing, inventory, estimating, pricing, or procure-to-pay processes.

• Experience with data-load templates, SAP Migration Cockpit, reporting tools, or data governance practices.

• Experience in the fire and life-safety, construction, service, distribution, or other multi-Division environments.

• SAP certification or formal training in supply chain, procurement, finance, or data management.
