SAP PP Functional Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Act as the primary functional reference for SAP PP.

• Offer support and lead the enhancement of SAP processes.

• Collect requirements from various business areas.

• Develop functional specifications.

• Take part in SAP implementation, rollout, and process improvement initiatives.

• Analyze and resolve intricate incidents.

• Conduct functional debugging.

• Examine interfaces, IDocs, batch jobs, and logs.

• Evaluate the impact of changes and design appropriate solutions.

• Work collaboratively with business users and technical teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related discipline.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience with SAP PP.

• Proven experience in providing functional support and implementing enhancements.

• Background in medium- or large-sized industrial environments.

• Experience in gathering requirements.

• Familiarity with preparing Functional Specifications (FS).

• Knowledge of testing, user acceptance testing, and process mapping.

• Competency in debugging.

• Understanding of tables from other modules, particularly MM and SD.

• Expertise in SAP PP, including production orders, bills of materials (BOMs), routings, work centers, production capacity, master production scheduling, and production versions.

• Awareness of integration with the shop floor, ABAP code interpretation, interfaces and IDocs, batch jobs, logs, and troubleshooting.

• Experience in the steel, mining, metallurgy, or heavy industry sectors is advantageous.

• Background in optimization and digital transformation projects is a plus.
