SAP PLM Functional Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design and implement comprehensive PLM integration between Teamcenter and SAP S/4HANA.

• Establish engineering-to-order procedures, engineering BOMs, variant structures, configuration management, and change propagation.

• Create and configure SAP Engineering Change Management, encompassing change masters, effectiveness, workflows, and impact assessments.

• Assess and design integration options for SAP, including SAP ECTR, Teamcenter Gateway, BAPIs, IDocs, and API-based interfaces.

• Specify field mapping, versioning protocols, and reconciliation methodologies.

• Set up SAP Document Management System, including document categories, versioning, status networks, and CAD integration workflows.

• Implement governance for engineering data ownership, release strategies, and version control practices.

• Determine how engineering alterations affect production BOMs, routings, production orders, purchase requisitions, and sustainment materials.

• Create ETO frameworks for project manufacturing and Task Order implementation.

• Generate PLM reports for engineering change status, BOM comparisons, configuration baselines, and Fiori/CDS analytical content.

• Conduct PLM in-depth workshops and Blueprint sessions.

• Produce Functional Description Documents, configuration workbooks, functional specifications, and UAT test scripts.

• Keep records of decisions and outstanding items.

• Provide support for SOCOM SOF GLSS through SAP S/4HANA 2023 PLM architecture with Teamcenter integration.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 6 years of experience in SAP Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) functional configuration in an implementation or consulting capacity.

• At least two complete lifecycle implementations.

• Practical experience in integrating Teamcenter with SAP, including BOM synchronization, material governance, document management, and ECO/ECR workflows.

• Familiarity with engineering-to-order (ETO) processes, engineering BOMs, variant structures, and configuration control.

• Working knowledge of PLM integration with Production Planning, Materials Management, Controlling, and Project System.

• Capability to create functional design documentation, functional specifications, and UAT test scripts.

• Proficiency in facilitating client workshops with program management and project controls teams.

• Eligibility to obtain and maintain a CAC (Common Access Card).

• US Citizenship is mandatory.

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Information Systems, Supply Chain, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
