SAP Material Management Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Configure, develop, and maintain SAP ERP applications specifically within the Material Management (MM) module.

• Deliver functional design, expertise, guidance, presentations, and training on SAP MM solutions to clients.

• Provide support to utility clients across North America for VertexOne.

• Collaborate with clients and team members in North America to gather requirements, create, and implement solutions.

• Engage in SAP MM implementation and/or support tasks.

• Utilize knowledge of intercompany processes, purchase requisitions, inventory management, goods movements, and purchase orders.

• Design and execute core functionalities of SAP MM, including the development of screen controls.

• Assist clients in the implementation and support of the SAP module.

• Collect requirements, design, implement, and provide support for SAP Materials Management solutions.

• Configure SAP MM according to requirements collected during blueprinting sessions.

• Create templates and strategies to enhance application support efficiency.

• Prioritize SAP business requirements and devise suitable solutions.

• Understand and resolve configuration dependencies and integrations with modules such as FI-GL, AA, AR, PS, FI, and CO.

• Work with SAP S/4HANA and its updated data structure.

• Define test scenarios, develop master data, and conduct unit, cycle, and integration testing.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Commerce, Chartered Accountant, Master’s in Business Administration, Finance, or equivalent qualifications.

• A minimum of 5+ years of experience working with SAP applications.

• At least one complete life-cycle implementation experience.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Proficiency in written and spoken English.

• Skilled in MS Visio, Word, Excel, and incident management tools.

• Conceptual knowledge of relational databases and middleware technologies.

• Basic understanding of SaaS and cloud computing.

• Ability to operate with minimal supervision, demonstrating effective time management and work planning skills.

• Experience in SAP implementation and ongoing support.

• Familiarity with the SAP IS-Utilities environment is a plus.
