SAP IS-U FI-CA Functional Consultant – Advanced English Required

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Argentina, +4 more countries.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with business users and stakeholders to collect, analyze, and document requirements.

• Configure and provide support for SAP IS-U FI-CA functionalities.

• Assist with payments, payment reversals, dunning, collections, security deposits, write-offs, refunds, installment plans, returns, account determination, clearing, open item management, and FI/GL integration.

• Investigate and resolve production incidents.

• Conduct root cause analysis for recurring accounts receivable, payment, collection, and customer financial issues.

• Create functional specifications and work in conjunction with development teams.

• Evaluate impacts across FI-CA, SAP IS-U Billing, Customer Service, FI/GL, and related SAP processes.

• Engage in requirements gathering, functional design, testing, training, deployment, and post-production support.

• Carry out and support functional testing for releases, upgrades, enhancements, and deployments.

• Assist with service requests, defect resolution, and minor enhancements.

• Maintain functional documentation, process flows, configuration documentation, and user guides.

• Support initiatives related to data integrity, audit, reporting, and compliance.

• Collaborate with Billing, Device Management, Customer Service, and General Ledger teams.

• Adhere to SLAs and operational support procedures.

• Participate in on-call support rotations as necessary.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3–5+ years of practical SAP IS-U FI-CA functional experience, preferably in Utilities environments.

• Strong hands-on experience in configuring SAP IS-U FI-CA.

• Practical knowledge of payments, dunning, collections, clearing/open items, write-offs, security deposits, refunds, and installment plans.

• Experience in supporting production SAP environments and independently troubleshooting FI-CA-related incidents.

• Capability to perform functional analysis and root cause analysis.

• Strong comprehension of FI-CA integration with SAP IS-U Billing and SAP Financial Accounting (FI/GL).

• Understanding of utility meter-to-cash and/or customer-to-cash processes.

• Ability to assess functional impacts across FI-CA and related SAP IS-U components.

• Experience in gathering business requirements and converting them into functional specifications.

• Experience in testing, enhancements, releases, and production deployments.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation abilities.

• Excellent client-facing communication and stakeholder management skills.

• Advanced English proficiency (C1).

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
