SAP IS-U Billing – Functional Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Configure and develop SAP IS-U applications within the Billing module.

• Deliver functional design and provide support for utility clients based in North America at VertexOne.

• Work collaboratively with clients and North American team members to collect requirements.

• Create and implement effective solutions.

• Prepare business blueprints, business process plans (BPPs), functional documentation, and test cases.

• Develop templates and strategies to enhance application support efficiency.

• Collect and prioritize SAP business requirements, designing suitable solutions.

• Comprehend configuration dependencies and interconnections among SAP modules, including Device Management, CS/CRM, and FICA.

• Design and troubleshoot solutions utilizing cross-module expertise.

• Define test scenarios that encompass the entire business scope.

• Create master data and perform unit, cycle, and integration testing.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Commerce, Chartered Accountant, Master’s in Business Administration, Finance, or equivalent qualifications.

• A minimum of 5+ years of experience working with SAP applications.

• At least one full life-cycle implementation experience is required.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Formal training or certifications in SAP Billing is preferred.

• Experience in SAP implementation and support is essential.

• Knowledge of the SAP IS-Utilities environment is a plus.

• Understanding of SAP Billing and invoicing processes.

• Familiarity with Meter to Cash processes.

• Experience in end-to-end Billing Master Data configuration.

• Proficient in handling Billing Documents, Invoicing Documents, Automatic Billing and simulations, Manual Billing, Out-sorting, and Bill reversals.

• Experience with invoicing, out-sorting, and invoice charges.

• Knowledge of Collective Billing, Joint Invoicing, Budget Billing, Real Time Pricing, and Batch Processes.

• Experience with Bill Print and Print Workbench.

• Background in regulated and/or de-regulated energy markets in North America.

• Awareness of SAP module dependencies, including Device Management, CS/CRM, and FICA.
