SAP GTS Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Morocco.

📋 Description

• Accountable for the design, configuration, and support of trade compliance and customs-related processes within SAP environments.

• Knowledgeable about Morocco's customs regulations and the processes involved in import/export compliance.

• Capable of converting business and regulatory needs into scalable solutions within SAP.

• Proven experience collaborating with third-party systems, customs brokers, logistics service providers, and external trade compliance platforms.

• Possess strong skills in documentation, communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving.

• Acquainted with Morocco's requirements for import/export documentation, including commercial invoices, import commitments, customs declarations, HS code usage, buyer/supplier information, and relevant technical documents.

• Informed about the customs processes in Morocco overseen by the Administration of Customs and Indirect Taxes, along with digital customs clearance through BADR for import and export procedures.

• Comprehension of Morocco-specific compliance matters such as customs valuation, tariff classification, origin documentation, duties and taxes, Verification of Conformity requirements, and port/customs clearance operations.

• Proficient in evaluating Morocco's customs requirements and aligning them with SAP GTS / International Trade solution design, configuration, and integration needs.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 10 years of consulting experience in SAP with robust hands-on knowledge of SAP GTS, International Trade, or Foreign Trade.

• Solid understanding of import/export processes, customs declarations, customs valuation, tariff classification, origin management, and trade compliance.

• Good familiarity with integration points of SD and MM relevant to international trade, including sales orders, deliveries, billing, purchase orders, inbound deliveries, and goods movements.

• Experience in implementing, rolling out, migrating, or supporting SAP S/4HANA International Trade and/or SAP Global Trade Services projects.
