SAP Functional Consultant – Procure to Pay, Materials Management

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• Configure and provide support for SAP S/4HANA Procure-to-Pay and Materials Management functionalities.

• Analyze business needs and convert them into functional designs, system configurations, and technical specifications.

• Set up purchasing organizations, purchasing groups, plants, storage locations, valuation areas, and account determination.

• Assist in the procurement lifecycle from requisition through to payment.

• Manage requisition processes, purchase orders, source determination, vendor management, material master data, inventory management, goods receipts, invoice verification, stock transfers, physical inventory, analytics, and reporting.

• Create Functional Design Documents, business process documentation, configuration guides, and training materials.

• Develop functional specifications for RICEFW components.

• Collaborate with ABAP developers on custom enhancements and interfaces.

• Conduct unit, system integration, and user acceptance testing.

• Aid in defect resolution and root cause analysis.

• Deliver Tier II/Tier III production support.

• Facilitate data migration for vendor, material, purchasing, pricing, and inventory master data.

• Identify opportunities for procurement efficiency and supply chain optimization in collaboration with stakeholders.

• Engage in Agile ceremonies.

• Assist with production deployments, release planning, and system stabilization.

• Support cybersecurity, audit, and Authority to Operate activities.

⛳️ Requirements

• Active DoD Secret clearance.

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

• Over 5 years of SAP functional experience in supporting Procure-to-Pay and Materials Management.

• Practical experience in implementing or supporting SAP S/4HANA.

• Strong grasp of procurement operations, purchasing, inventory management, material master, vendor master, invoice verification, stock management, and procurement reporting.

• Capability to develop functional specifications for custom SAP enhancements.

• Experience in supporting testing, production support, and system enhancements.

• Familiarity with the SAP Activate implementation methodology.

• Knowledge of Agile software development methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban.

• Experience integrating PTP/MM with SAP FI, CO, FM, SD, TM, EWM, EAM, and GTS modules.

• Proficiency in SAP Fiori applications.

• Familiarity with SAP Cloud ALM.

• Exceptional analytical, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.

• Willingness to travel up to 10%.
