SAP FI Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Set up and provide support for SAP FI solutions within SAP S/4HANA environments.

• Assess business needs and transform them into functional solutions.

• Assist with FI-SD integration and associated business processes.

• Draft functional specifications for enhancements and change requests.

• Translate business requirements into functional and high-level technical designs.

• Create test plans, test scenarios, and test cases.

• Aid in the scheduling and monitoring of batch jobs.

• Offer production support and resolve issues.

• Collaborate with business stakeholders, technical teams, and project leadership.

• Operate independently while contributing to the overall success of the project.

⛳️ Requirements

• 6-8 years of experience in SAP FI.

• In-depth understanding of SAP FI configurations, transactions, tables, and reporting.

• Practical experience with SAP S/4HANA.

• Proficient in New GL, Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Cost Center Accounting, and Profit Center Accounting.

• Extensive experience with FI-SD integration.

• Background in preparing functional specifications.

• Skill in converting business requirements into solution designs.

• Strong testing background, including test planning and execution.

• Experience in scheduling and monitoring batch jobs.

• Practical production support experience.

• Client-facing consulting background.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Capability to work independently as an individual contributor.
