SAP Center of Excellence Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Lead the SAP CoE team responsible for FTM, Controlling, PTP, OTC, Basis, and Development functions.

• Organize team workload and distribute resources effectively between S/4HANA implementations and ongoing maintenance tasks.

• Ensure S/4HANA rollouts are executed according to the global template for the European region.

• Supervise ongoing system operations and provide user support.

• Partner with Project Managers and Product Owners of systems that integrate with SAP.

• Manage external vendors and ensure the quality of their outputs.

• Uphold end-to-end process consistency across various countries and workstreams.

• Track delivery risks and communicate status updates.

• Foster relationships between business and technology, aligning stakeholders with achievable expectations.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 8 years of experience in one of the SAP functional domains (FTM / OTC / PTP or similar).

• A minimum of 5 years in a leadership role.

• Experience with SAP implementations and system upkeep, preferably ECC or S/4HANA.

• Demonstrated experience in leading a functional CoE team or a comparable structure.

• Strong supplier management capabilities, including resource allocation, SLAs, and quality assurance.

• Familiarity with operating within a global template framework.

• Experience in navigating the business–IT interface.

• Understanding of capacity planning and managing multi-workstream environments.

• Experience with AI applications in SAP or finance processes, including implementation and use-case identification.

• Proficient command of English.

• Background in logistics or e-commerce.

• Knowledge of R2R, P2P, and O2C processes.

• Familiarity with SAP Activate and ITIL methodologies.

• Experience in GBS / SSC environments.

• Understanding of B2B contract arrangements.
