SAP Business Technology Platform Administrator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut.

📋 Description

• Oversee global accounts, subaccounts, directories, and service entitlements within SAP BTP.

• Track resource usage and ensure compliance with assigned quota limits.

• Provision and set up BTP services in development, testing, and production environments.

• Manage Cloud Transport Management and coordinate transports with Development and Integration teams.

• Configure and oversee the Identity Authentication Service and Identity Provisioning Service.

• Set up audit logging to meet SOX and enterprise compliance standards.

• Collaborate with Cyber Security teams to uphold enterprise security protocols.

• Ensure secure connectivity between BTP, on-premise systems, and SAP SaaS solutions via SAP Cloud Connector.

• Configure and maintain APIs, Event Mesh, integration flows, and destinations.

• Diagnose integration, runtime, and production issues across BTP services.

• Keep BTP documentation, standards, and operational procedures up to date.

• Assist with interface monitoring, performance optimization, and issue resolution.

• Provide ongoing support during and after project implementation.

• Work in partnership with SAP functional, technical, infrastructure, and security teams for application deployment and lifecycle management.

• Engage in technical design discussions and contribute to solution documentation.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree with at least 8 years of relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field with a minimum of 5 years of experience, or 12 years of relevant experience without a degree.

• Proven experience in administering SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP).

• Background in supporting complex SAP S4 HANA environments.

• Familiarity with the configuration, administration, and troubleshooting of SAP Cloud Connector for integration and production challenges.

• Experience collaborating across SAP functional, technical, infrastructure, and security teams.

• Proficiency with observability and system monitoring platforms.

• U.S. citizenship is mandatory.

• Must reside in one of the 50 U.S. states, excluding U.S. Territories.

• Extensive experience in SAP BTP administration within complex enterprise settings is preferred.

• Knowledge of S4 HANA, SAP Application Interface Framework (AIF), and Basis administration is preferred.

• Experience in configuring Event Mesh, APIs, and Integration Suite is preferred.

• Familiarity with BTP Build Work Zone configuration is preferred.

• Strong communication, documentation, and governance skills are preferred.
