SAP Business Analyst, German Speaking

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Hungary.

📋 Description

• Convert business requirements regarding market communication into technical design solutions.

• Define, document, and present data models within SAP Business Warehouse for client approval.

• Design and execute data models for BDO Market Communication and Master Data Reporting.

• Develop technical objects and write ABAP and SQL code in SAP BW/4HANA.

• Handle data from SAP MaCo Cloud, SAP S/4 Utilities, and CSV sources.

• Implement developments based on Product Owner priorities, business needs, and quality standards.

• Clarify requirements with stakeholders and pinpoint inconsistencies or logical errors.

• Conduct data and requirement cleansing.

• Document technical developments and ensure proper client handover.

• Collaborate with stakeholders, Product Owners, and project team members in an agile setting.

• Assist in the operation and further enhancement of the Meter2Cash data and reporting framework.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive practical experience with SAP BW/4HANA and data modeling.

• In-depth knowledge of SAP HANA SQL and ABAP.

• Experience working with SAP S/4HANA Utilities.

• Familiarity with data integration and reporting from various source systems, preferably including SAP MaCo Cloud, SAP S/4 Utilities, and CSV data sources.

• Understanding or experience with market communication processes in the energy/utilities industry.

• Experience with market communication data/processes such as VISL, INAN, DTAN, DESN, BUAN, and CNSL.

• Capability to translate business needs into technical concepts and data models.

• Background in technical documentation and presenting solutions to stakeholders.

• Strong analytical abilities and a knack for identifying logical inconsistencies in requirements or data.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

• High level of independence and ownership.

• Proficiency in articulating and justifying technical solutions persuasively.

• Experience in an agile project environment.

• Nearshore availability is essential; only nearshore candidates will be considered.

• Proficiency in German is required for this role.
