SAP BTP Integration Suite Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Sweden, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Design and manage cloud-based integration strategies.

• Connect various SAP and non-SAP systems utilizing SAP Integration Suite (iPaaS).

• Develop efficient, event-driven architectures.

• Define integration architecture that aligns with business objectives for cloud-to-cloud, on-premise-to-cloud, and B2B scenarios.

• Guide the development of integration flows (iFlows) through visual, BPMN-style tools.

• Utilize Cloud Integration, Event Mesh, API Management, and pre-built content from the API Business Hub.

• Establish standards for integration, security, and monitoring.

• Implement security protocols using OAuth2 and certificates.

• Lead the migration from legacy systems like SAP PO to the cloud-native Integration Suite.

• Facilitate real-time data exchange and support digital transformation initiatives.

• Create a streamlined core for SAP S/4HANA by integrating extensions and external applications.

• Act as the client representative to manage system vendors and external consultants.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Business, IT, or a related field.

• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.

• Proficiency with SAP Integration Suite, including Cloud Integration (CPI), Event Mesh, API Management, and OpenConnectors.

• Experience with request-driven integration patterns using SOAP, REST, and OData.

• Familiarity with event-driven architectures (EDA).

• Programming capabilities in Groovy and/or JavaScript for custom logic development.

• Experience in implementing authentication and authorization mechanisms, including OAuth2 and certificates.

• Practical experience in migrating from SAP PO or similar legacy middleware to a cloud-native integration platform.

• Expertise in integrating both SaaS and internal applications, not limited to SAP-to-SAP scenarios.

• Experience in a multinational, matrix organization.

• Proven ability to manage system vendors and external consultants as a client representative.

• Proficiency in written and spoken English.

• SAP certifications in Integration Suite / BTP are considered a strong advantage.
