This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Assist key users throughout the monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes by analyzing and addressing consolidation discrepancies.

• Explore the origins of discrepancies by tracing postings by document type, subitem, and sequence in the consolidation journal.

• Improve the solution by incorporating data actions, advanced formulas, multi actions, models, elimination rules, validations, and reports.

• Manage the group structure, ownership percentages, EQP corporate tree, and opening balances.

• Document analyses and procedures while training key users to enable them to conduct day-to-day analyses independently.

⛳️ Requirements

• Practical experience with SAP Analytics Cloud Planning, including models, data actions, advanced formulas, multi actions, data loads, and stories.

• In-depth understanding of corporate consolidation, including investment elimination against equity with difference management; equity-method accounting for both direct and indirect holdings; currency translation and CTA; non-controlling interests; as well as opening balances and balance carryforwards.

• Familiarity with IFRS and BRGAAP as they pertain to consolidation.

• Strong analytical skills in handling large data sets: advanced Excel or Power Query, and proficiency in SQL or Python.

• Capability to independently investigate issues, develop hypotheses, and suggest solutions prior to escalation.

• Preferred: experience with S/4HANA Group Reporting or SAP BCS.

• Preferred: background working with organizations that have foreign subsidiaries and multilayer corporate structures.

• Preferred: experience with consolidated closing processes for publicly listed companies subject to CVM regulations.

• Preferred: proficiency in English for reading technical documentation.
