This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee the technical architecture and assist in application development on the Salesforce platform.
• Implement and manage Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) environments and tools.
• Design and develop business application functionalities based on solutions.
• Conduct fit-gap analysis to align business requirements with Salesforce best practices, capabilities, and features.
• Create declarative solutions utilizing Salesforce Service, Sales, and Community clouds alongside AppExchange.
• Provide operational support, enhancements, and bug fixes on the Salesforce.com platform.
• Collaborate with the Development Team to support application solutions.
• Offer technical assistance and end-user troubleshooting for bug fixes, enhancements, and instructional guidance.
• Design and develop API integrations with external business systems.
• Evaluate risks and propose mitigation strategies, effectively communicating project impacts through various channels.
• Facilitate technical solutioning sessions, producing architecture diagrams and technical design documentation.
• Mentor development teams on scalable, secure, and accessible coding practices, data governance, and platform limitations.
• Operate independently with minimal supervision.
• Collaborate with colleagues and clients in a client-facing capacity.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (Business Administration/Management, Computer Science, or Software Engineering preferred).
• Familiarity with and experience in Agile development methodologies.
• At least seven (7) years of Salesforce implementation experience, including a minimum of 2 years as a lead developer/architect on enterprise-scale Salesforce projects.
• Active Salesforce Administrator certification and Salesforce Developer certification.
• Proficient in developing Web Services (i.e., JSON and XML) between Salesforce Org and third-party applications.
• Strong understanding of Apex (classes and triggers), Lightning Components/LWC, Aura, and Visualforce.
• Extensive expertise in platform architecture, governor limits, system design, and refactoring for scalability and performance.
• Knowledge of Custom Objects, Salesforce Flows, Approval Processes, Email Alerts and communication templates.
• Proven experience in developing integration architectures involving MuleSoft, Salesforce Events, Canvas, or other middleware.
• Experience in leading technical solutioning sessions and producing architecture diagrams and technical design documents.
• Strong knowledge and experience with SFDX, Salesforce CLI, and Visual Studio Code.
• Ability to guide development teams on scalable and secure coding practices, accessible development (508 compliance), data governance, and platform constraints.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient knowledge of version control systems (Git, Bitbucket) is desired.
• Experience using JIRA or Agile Accelerator is desired.
• Background supporting Salesforce in regulated or Federal environments, including FedRAMP or FISMA compliance, is desired.
• Experience with Salesforce DX and scratch orgs in multi-org environments is desired.
• Familiarity with enterprise architecture patterns such as event-driven architecture and microservices is desired.
• Experience mentoring junior developers and leading technical communities of practice is desired.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen and able to pass a Federal Government background investigation.
