Salesforce Quality Assurance Tester

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Facilitate the functional alignment between the USSF baseline metadata package and the operational processes of the customer.

• Assess the data architecture, object models, user security matrix, and portal access structures in the target RCO environment.

• Provide guidance to solution consultants and developers for the configuration of both declarative and programmatic components.

• Create, maintain, and implement test plans, test cases, and test scripts for Salesforce configuration, customization, and integrations.

• Collaborate with government leads and Product Owners to comprehend acceptance criteria, testing scope, and release timelines.

• Conduct functional, regression, integration, end-to-end, and UAT support throughout sprints and Salesforce releases.

• Evaluate Salesforce Flow, approvals, validation rules, page layouts, and Lightning App Builder configurations.

• Test Apex, Lightning Web Components, and triggers; perform backend validation utilizing SOQL.

• Assess Salesforce integrations with MuleSoft, REST/SOAP APIs, and middleware.

• Record, track, and manage defects using Jira or Azure DevOps.

• Ensure data integrity, migrations, and accuracy of reporting/dashboard.

• Assist in Salesforce Public Sector Solutions release readiness, deployment validation, and post-cutover stabilization.

• Maintain scalable QA practices that align with governance, auditability, and compliance standards.

• Deliver briefings to government managers and generate test summaries, defect reports, and quality status updates.

• Perform additional job-related tasks as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in Salesforce architecture/consulting, particularly with Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Experience Cloud.

• Familiarity with DoD / Federal Salesforce environments (IL4/IL5 GovCloud).

• QA and testing expertise within an Agile delivery environment, encompassing test planning, test case development, and defect management.

• Capability to design and execute test cases based on user stories and acceptance criteria, including exception paths.

• Practical experience in testing Salesforce applications, declarative configurations, and Salesforce Flow.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; capable of briefing senior government stakeholders.

• U.S. Citizenship is mandatory.

• Must meet pre-employment qualifications set by Cherokee Federal.

• Ability to sit for extended periods at a desk and work on a computer; may occasionally require standing or moving around the office for long durations.

• TS/SCI with Polygraph is highly preferred.

• Certification as Salesforce Application Architect or System Architect is strongly preferred.

• Experience in supporting Salesforce Classic to Lightning migration efforts is preferred.

• Position may depend on the successful completion of a background investigation.
