Requirements and QA Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Identify, maintain, and validate requirements, effectively translating client expectations into precise user stories.

• Cultivate an understanding of the business ecosystem, suggesting process enhancements and innovative features.

• Oversee, refine, and prioritize the product backlog.

• Recognize stakeholder needs through interviews, workshops, and observational methods.

• Convert business requirements into both functional and non-functional specifications.

• Create and uphold Functional Specifications and User Stories.

• Assist in defining the backlog and managing delivery expectations.

• Contribute to establishing sprint goals and user story acceptance criteria.

• Develop and execute functional tests aligned with business requirements.

• Lead and support the acceptance testing of solutions and deliverables in collaboration with users and business managers.

• Document and monitor identified nonconformities.

• Assist users in utilizing products and in creating or updating product manuals and documentation.

• Formulate strategic solutions employing Design Thinking and Lean Inception methodologies.

• Comprehend and analyze BPM process mapping.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline.

• Experience in gathering requirements and/or functioning as a Business Analyst.

• Background in developing products using agile methodologies such as Scrum, SAFe, or other similar frameworks.

• Experience with products and systems characterized by high technical and regulatory complexity.

• Proficiency in functional testing and system acceptance testing.

• Familiarity with creating test scenarios and test cases derived from business requirements.

• Understanding of UML.

• Knowledge of prototyping techniques.

• Proficient in SQL.

• Familiarity with Markdown.

• Experience utilizing version control tools.

• Knowledge of agile management and demand-tracking tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or comparable platforms.

• Experience with Quality Assurance (QA) processes and continual software quality enhancement.

• CPRE (Certified Professional for Requirements Engineering) certification — preferred.

• Professional Scrum Product Owner (PSPO I) or Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) certification — preferred.

• CTFL (Certified Tester Foundation Level) certification or an equivalent software testing certification — preferred.

• Familiarity with software testing techniques, including functional, integration, regression, and acceptance testing — preferred.

• Knowledge of API testing tools such as Postman and Swagger — preferred.

• Awareness of test automation practices — preferred.

• Experience with digital transformation initiatives and large-scale enterprise systems — preferred.

• Agile-related certification will be regarded as an advantage.
