Junior QA Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Conduct testing for new features and fixes on the student portal, administrative dashboard, and mobile application.

• Create test cases and document outcomes with supporting evidence, including screenshots and videos.

• Detect, replicate, and thoroughly document bugs, providing detailed step-by-step instructions, environment specifics, expected outcomes, and actual results when relevant.

• Validate corrections made by the development team.

• Track and assist in resolving issues reported by students and the Support team.

• Execute the automated test suite as required.

• Review reports and logs to pinpoint failures and aid in root-cause analysis.

• Supervise the outcomes of automated pipelines that run on a daily basis.

• Test the mobile application using Android emulators, physical devices, and the Device Farm (TestingBot).

• Collaborate directly with the Development, Support, and Quality teams during testing phases and issue investigations.

⛳️ Requirements

• Familiarity with software testing, especially manual testing techniques.

• Proficiency in DevTools, encompassing the Console, Network panel, and DOM inspection.

• Understanding of application architecture, particularly the interactions between the front end, API, and database.

• Intermediate knowledge of Git.

• Experience with Playwright using TypeScript or JavaScript.

• SQL skills for basic and intermediate queries.

• Proficiency in task management tools like Monday Devs, Jira, or Azure DevOps.

• Knowledge of Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum and Kanban.

• Experience with API requests and testing via Postman, Insomnia, or Bruno.

• Regular use of artificial intelligence tools such as Claude, Cursor, and Codex.

• Proficient technical English.

• Experience in mobile application testing.

• Familiarity with mobile automation tools such as Appium.

• Experience with MCP servers to enhance activities and tasks.

• Certification in software testing, such as CTFL or a similar qualification.

• Background in end-user-focused systems, such as learning platforms or e-commerce solutions.

• Experience or knowledge working with UX/UI professionals.

• Previous experience in QA, including internships, coursework, or personal projects.

• GitHub profile showcasing personal automation projects.

• Completed higher education.
