Salesforce Platform Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design and implement scalable architecture solutions for Salesforce that meet program requirements.

• Facilitate technical design sessions and offer architectural direction across Salesforce platforms.

• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to advance business transformation initiatives.

• Establish and uphold Salesforce development standards, best practices, and governance policies.

• Assess and suggest integration patterns and middleware solutions.

• Manage data modeling, security architecture, and optimize platform performance.

• Provide mentorship and technical leadership to development teams.

• Articulate architectural decisions and technical strategies to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Conduct thorough code reviews and pull request evaluations.

• Undertake additional duties as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.

• Over 8 years of experience in Salesforce architecture, development, and implementation.

• In-depth experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, and platform functionalities.

• Strong proficiency in Apex, Lightning Components, Visualforce, and Salesforce APIs.

• Experience in data modeling, integration patterns, and middleware solutions such as MuleSoft.

• Knowledge of DevOps practices, CodeScan, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing in Salesforce environments.

• Conduct rigorous code reviews and pull request evaluations to maintain high standards of system architecture, security, and performance.

• Exceptional problem-solving abilities with the capacity to design scalable, maintainable, and high-performing solutions.

• Strong communication and leadership skills, capable of engaging effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Eligibility to obtain government Public Trust.

• Excellent organizational and communication skills.

• Ability to work in the United States without sponsorship due to clearance requirements.

• Preferred Salesforce certifications include Salesforce Certified Technical Architect (CTA), Application Architect, or System Architect.

• Experience with large-scale enterprise implementations of Salesforce is preferred.

• Familiarity with AI/ML capabilities within the Salesforce ecosystem is preferred.

• Experience with Agile methodologies and project management tools is preferred.

• Active VA Public Trust is preferred.

• Previous experience supporting federal agencies, particularly the Department of Veterans Affairs, is preferred.

• Prior successful experience working in a remote environment is preferred.
