This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Engage in the complete application life cycle, encompassing architecture, design, development, testing, and deployment.
• Develop, test, and deploy high-performance, reusable, and dependable Apex code.
• Design and customize Lightning Components.
• Architect data models and implement Salesforce objects, fields, and their relationships.
• Optimize Salesforce applications through code enhancements, modular development, lazy loading, query refinement, caching, and asynchronous workflows.
• Participate in options analysis, proof-of-concept implementations, and validation of solutions.
• Recognize risks, manage changes, and create efficient, scalable cloud solutions.
• Collect technical requirements and translate user stories and dependencies for the technical delivery team.
• Collaborate with designers and engineers on product, front-end, and back-end specifications.
• Diagnose and resolve Salesforce platform issues for users.
• Engage in Agile ceremonies, including standups, demonstrations, retrospectives, and sprint planning.
• Document development processes and technical architecture.
• Review Salesforce trends, releases, features, and product roadmaps; evaluate and approve product compatibility.
• Establish and uphold Salesforce best practices and coding standards.
• Execute unit and integration testing.
• Facilitate collaboration and knowledge-sharing sessions across teams.
• Drive an automation-first strategy utilizing Apex scripts, Robotic Process Automation, and related tools.
• Keep abreast of technological advancements.
• Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned.
• Bachelor's degree.
• Over 5 years of Salesforce development experience.
• Candidate must be eligible to secure and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
• Candidate must be a resident of the US, authorized to work in the US, and all work must be conducted within the US.
• Must have resided in the US for 3 full years out of the last 5 years.
• Proficiency in web programming, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Experience with Lightning Web Components, Apex Triggers, Apex Classes, Visualforce, and SOQL.
• Familiarity with Copado CI/CD pipelines and best practices.
• Experience in building REST APIs for integration with external systems.
• Knowledge of object-oriented programming design patterns and best practices in Salesforce data modeling.
• Experience working in Agile and SAFe team environments.
• Understanding of Security, DevSecOps, and Agile principles.
• Experience in developing reports and dashboards within Salesforce.
• Background in a call center setup using Salesforce.
• Experience in multi-team development environments.
• An active Trailblazer account is required.
• One or more Salesforce developer certifications: Developer I, Developer II, or Platform App Builder.
• Preferred: experience in multi-cloud architectures and AWS cloud development.
• Preferred: experience in civic technology and government contracting.
• Preferred: Copado Fundamentals I or II.
• Preferred: experience in health cloud implementation and development.
