This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +34 more states.
• Design, develop, test, and implement tailored Salesforce solutions utilizing Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components, and Flow.
• Execute and sustain declarative customizations, which include custom objects, fields, validation rules, Flows, and Apex.
• Work alongside business stakeholders and product managers to collect and assess requirements, translating them into technical specifications.
• Integrate Salesforce with external systems through REST, SOAP, batch jobs, integration tools, and APIs.
• Conduct data migrations and maintain data integrity within Salesforce.
• Engage in all stages of the software development lifecycle, covering system design, development, testing, deployment, and post-implementation support.
• Ensure compliance with Salesforce best practices, coding standards, and security protocols related to patient health data.
• Diagnose and resolve technical challenges while providing ongoing support and maintenance for the Salesforce platform.
• Keep abreast of Salesforce features, suggesting and executing enhancements.
• Thrive in an Agile/Scrum environment by participating in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
• A minimum of 3+ years of practical experience as a Salesforce Developer.
• Demonstrated experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud and Service Cloud.
• Strong expertise in Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and JavaScript.
• Preferred knowledge of AWS platform development.
• Experience with Salesforce's declarative tools.
• Comprehensive understanding of Salesforce's data model, security model, and sharing settings.
• Familiarity with Salesforce APIs (REST/SOAP) and integration methodologies.
• Knowledge of version control (GitHub) and CI/CD pipelines; familiarity with DevOps Center.
• Salesforce Platform Developer I certification is mandatory.
• Platform Developer II certification is an advantage.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and debugging abilities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with both technical and non-technical teams.
• Capability to work independently and handle multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
• Preferred Salesforce Administrator and Platform Developer certification.
• Experience with additional Salesforce clouds, such as Health Cloud and Experience Cloud.
• Knowledge of front-end web technologies (HTML, CSS).
• Familiarity with testing frameworks and methodologies within Salesforce.
• Knowledge of Mulesoft is a plus.
• Ability to work at a computer terminal with monitor, keyboard, and mouse for extended periods.
• Capability to stoop, bend, reach, perform frequent repetitive motions, and lift, carry, push, pull, and move light objects up to 20 pounds.
• Ability to communicate verbally, discern auditory information, and visually perceive details.
