This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Act as the technical Subject Matter Expert for Salesforce projects and engagements
• Convert business needs into well-structured Salesforce solutions
• Assess and document solution feasibility, advantages, and risks
• Provide detailed estimates of effort for proposed solutions
• Oversee development, testing, and deployment plans to guarantee quality delivery
• Stay updated with the latest Salesforce products and technical capabilities
• Offer technical guidance during sales processes, including high-level solution design and effort assessments
• Engage in Salesforce forums, events, and marketing initiatives
• Exhibit thought leadership through writing, public speaking, and client presentations
• Guide projects through the requirements definition and solution design stages
• Supervise solution designs to align with business requirements and fulfill user stories
• Direct resources through the build, test, and deployment phases
• Collaborate with clients to gather requirements, develop Salesforce solutions, and produce comprehensive documentation
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field (preferably Business Administration/Management, Computer Science, or Software Engineering)
• At least seven (7) years of relevant professional technical experience in designing and delivering technical solutions
• Minimum of three (3) years in MuleSoft API development
• Active MuleSoft Certified Developer certification
• Proven experience in 3+ projects executing full SDLC (Discovery, requirements analysis, design, testing, deployment, and maintenance) of Salesforce-based solutions
• Extensive Salesforce development experience covering security, Process Builder, Flow, Workflow, Apex, Visualforce, Lightning, Community, Triggers, API, SOSL, SOQL, REST, and App Builder
• Familiarity with architecture and integration patterns, as well as DevOps methodologies, tools, and techniques
• Knowledge of best practices and coding standards
• Experience in designing, implementing, and managing APIs as products using OpenAPI v3 and MuleSoft’s 3-tiered API architecture, including Salesforce integration and security in line with Federal and FISMA standards
• Capability to independently develop and maintain automated MUnit test suites
• Ability to deliver secure, scalable MuleSoft APIs utilizing API-led connectivity, compliance, and cross-platform integration best practices
• Experience in designing enterprise-level Salesforce solutions using both waterfall and agile methodologies throughout the complete lifecycle
• Expert understanding of Salesforce Sales, Service, Community, and Marketing Clouds as well as the Force.com Platform
• Extensive experience in Salesforce configuration, including workflows, validation rules, Process Builder, and security controls
• Proven track record in defining business requirements, crafting user stories, and providing comprehensive Salesforce system and functional designs
• Experience in documenting business processes and wireframing system designs using process flow diagrams, UML, and sequence diagrams
• Expert ability to define system architecture landscapes, identify gaps from current to desired states, and deliver holistic solutions
• Experience in integrating Salesforce with various business systems
• Basic understanding of programming logic and constructs, particularly in Salesforce
• Experience with single-org deployments and multi-org consolidations
• Must be a U.S. Citizen and able to pass a Federal Government background check
• Active MuleSoft Certified Platform Architect or MuleSoft Certified Integration Architect certification (preferred)
• Experience integrating Salesforce with MuleSoft solutions (preferred)
• Experience managing MuleSoft APIs in MuleSoft Government Cloud, including deployment and CloudHub configuration (preferred)
• Experience implementing secure HTTPS API connectivity using MuleSoft CloudHub (preferred)
• Proven experience overseeing the direction, development, and implementation of CRM software solutions (preferred)
• Knowledge of best practices and methodologies in CRM software quality assurance (preferred)
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, along with strong presenting, meeting facilitation, negotiation, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities
