This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.
• Propel sales and revenue advancement for the Test Preparation division throughout the designated territory.
• Formulate and implement territory-specific sales strategies to meet monthly, quarterly, and annual objectives.
• Cultivate relationships with customers, educational institutions, partners, and other relevant stakeholders.
• Employ a consultative sales methodology to comprehend customer requirements and propose appropriate solutions.
• Detect new business prospects and transform leads into customers.
• Oversee and manage the sales pipeline, ensuring effective funnel progression and timely closures.
• Examine market geography, customer demographics, competitive dynamics, and local business potential.
• Supervise trade and distribution operations within the assigned territory.
• Develop and nurture distributor and channel partnerships.
• Travel frequently for outstation coverage and market assessments.
• Ensure comprehensive geographical coverage and identify unexploited markets.
• Monitor competitor activities, market trends, pricing strategies, and customer needs, providing valuable market insights.
• Conduct customer meetings, presentations, negotiations, and follow-up communications.
• Meet sales targets while preserving customer relationships and maintaining business quality.
• Generate sales reports, forecasts, and pipeline updates for management review.
• Collaborate with internal teams to fulfill customer demands and business commitments.
• Over 5 years of relevant sales experience, ideally in education, test preparation, EdTech, training, publishing, or a similar sector.
• In-depth understanding of local market geography and territory management.
• Demonstrated capability to meet and surpass sales targets.
• Strong consultative selling and solution-oriented selling skills.
• Exceptional communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship management abilities.
• Proficient in pipeline management and sales forecasting.
• Experience in trade, distribution, or channel management is a plus.
• Willingness to travel extensively within the designated territory, including outstation coverage.
• Capacity to work autonomously and take charge of the assigned market.
• Strong commercial insight combined with a results-driven approach.
• Good analytical and reporting capabilities.
• Aptitude for identifying market opportunities and translating them into tangible business outcomes.
• An MBA or postgraduate degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Management, or a related field is preferred.
• Graduates with substantial relevant sales experience may also be considered.
