This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Strategize territories, assess opportunities, and finalize business transactions within the analytical chemistry workflow.
• Offer client solutions that aid customers in achieving scientific advancements.
• Serve as a subject matter expert in the field of analytical chemistry.
• Collaborate within a network of general sales representatives, supply partners, portfolio teams, and marketing departments.
• Provide solutions that align with customer needs, specifications, long-term account objectives, and company strategies.
• Cultivate relationships to gain insights into customer requirements and pose clarifying questions for precise and prompt solution delivery.
• Assist general sales representatives and management through regional meetings, strategic sessions, key account initiatives, and on-site technical workshops.
• Maintain relationships with manufacturers and industry specialists.
• Travel to customer sites and accounts across Texas and neighboring southern states.
• Demonstrate drive, judgment, influence, curiosity, and the capability to operate independently in a dynamic, matrixed environment.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or a relevant field of work experience is mandatory.
• At least 3+ years of experience in chromatography is required.
• Strong comprehension of the analytical chemistry marketplace, including HPLC, LC/MS, GC, GC/MS, FPLC, flash chromatography, purification techniques, spectroscopy, ICP, and wet chemistry.
• A valid Driver's License is necessary.
• Willingness to travel to customer locations for a minimum of 4 days per week.
• Travel across the South-Central region of the United States is expected.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is required.
• Experience in an analytical laboratory, including sample preparation and data analysis, is preferred.
• Familiarity with running, maintaining, and troubleshooting analytical instruments/equipment, including PM, IQ/OQ/PQ, is preferred.
• Experience with Salesforce and SAP is a plus.
• Sales experience in a matrixed environment is highly desirable.
