This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Identify, prioritize, and develop relationships with key accounts and opinion leaders within the Liver/Hepatology Medical Oncology sector.
• Oversee designated geographic territories and promote FUJIFILM HCC Risk Biomarkers sales.
• Collaborate with senior management teams from major IVD manufacturers as assigned.
• Maintain an in-depth understanding of IVD reagent systems, distribution methods, and the clinical performance and utility of assays.
• Exhibit proficiency in disease states and convey a compelling customer value proposition.
• Acquire and retain clinical knowledge of tumor types to educate healthcare professionals on liver cancer screening and monitoring.
• Foster office relationships, gather customer feedback, and ensure the needs of accounts are fulfilled.
• Influence customer decisions by understanding their objectives and customizing messaging accordingly.
• Achieve sales targets by identifying growth opportunities, overcoming customer obstacles, and adapting sales strategies.
• Analyze sales data, recognize trends, and modify strategies based on insights gained.
• Prepare for discussions with accounts by utilizing resources, market data, and sales expertise.
• Build networks with cross-functional stakeholders and establish best practices.
• Identify, develop, evaluate, and maintain accounts and key customer relationships.
• Create and sustain a strategic key-customer database.
• Employ key account management strategies, best practices, and sales techniques.
• Collaborate with office and laboratory personnel to provide reimbursement assistance and test coding support.
• Formulate strategic account business plans with appropriate resource allocations.
• Cultivate relationships with healthcare professionals and key opinion leaders to broaden the IVD portfolio.
• Partner with both internal and external stakeholders.
• Create long-term activation plans for institutional accounts through gatekeepers and influencers.
• Maintain precise business information regarding promoted products.
• Report sales, quality, and compliance issues within the FUJIFILM IVD organization.
• Utilize IVD reporting systems for tracking sales opportunities and expenses in Salesforce.com.
• Work collaboratively with the Medical Affairs Team when appropriate.
• Address customer concerns and establish pathways for resolution.
• Assist with capital equipment i30 placements as directed by the Director of Sales and Marketing.
• Perform additional assigned duties as necessary.
• Adhere to relevant regulatory, quality, compliance, credentialing, and facility requirements.
• BA/BS degree required; a background in Biological science or a related field is preferred.
• At least 4 years of experience in diagnostic, pharmaceutical, biotech, medical sales, or oncology medical experience (relevant clinical experience) or equivalent marketing experience is preferred.
• Strong clinical expertise in various tumor types is preferred.
• Ability to sell within an adult oncology environment is preferred.
• Experience in launching new products and/or indications is preferred.
• Experience in selling a product in conjunction with both capital and companion diagnostics.
• Experience in diagnostic sales or genomic testing is preferred.
• Relationships and experience within academic institutions or large oncology accounts is a plus.
• Familiarity with immunohistochemistry or next-generation sequencing is preferred.
• A scientific background and understanding of clinical trials is preferred.
• Excellent negotiation skills are required.
• A valid driver’s license and a clean driving record are required.
• Willingness to travel as needed, including overnight and/or weekend trips.
• Strong written and oral communication skills are required.
• Proven cross-functional collaboration skills are required.
• A passionate and self-motivated individual is essential.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
• Excellent interpersonal, written, verbal, and presentation skills are needed.
• Understanding the essential components of an effective business plan and a willingness to take responsibility for performance.
• Ability to sit for 75–100% of applicable work time.
• Ability to use hands and fingers to manipulate items, including keyboards, for up to 100% of applicable work time.
• Ability to stand, talk, and hear for 75% of applicable work time.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 15 pounds for up to 20% of applicable work time.
• Close vision: ability to see clearly at 20 inches or less.
• Willingness to travel 75% of the time.
