This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Identify, prioritize, and cultivate relationships with key accounts and opinion leaders within the Liver/Hepatology Medical Oncology sector.
• Manage designated geographic regions and drive sales for FUJIFILM HCC Risk Biomarkers.
• Collaborate with senior management teams from major IVD manufacturers as assigned.
• Maintain a thorough understanding of IVD reagent systems, distribution methods, and the clinical performance and utility of assays.
• Exhibit disease-state knowledge and effectively communicate customer value propositions.
• Educate healthcare professionals on the advantages of screening and surveillance for liver cancer.
• Foster office relationships and gather customer feedback to ensure account requirements are fulfilled.
• Customize messaging to align with customer needs, goals, and priorities.
• Seek growth opportunities, address customer obstacles, and adapt sales strategies accordingly.
• Analyze sales data, evaluate trends, and leverage insights to enhance sales tactics.
• Prepare for account discussions using available resources, market intelligence, and sales experience.
• Build cross-functional networks and establish industry best practices.
• Target, develop, evaluate, and sustain knowledge of accounts and key customers.
• Employ strategic thinking to create and maintain key customer databases.
• Implement best practices in key account management and selling techniques.
• Collaborate with office and laboratory personnel to provide reimbursement assistance and test coding.
• Create business plans that align with strategic accounts and resource distribution.
• Analyze business dynamics, technical challenges, and evolving market trends.
• Cultivate relationships with healthcare professionals and key opinion leaders to enhance the IVD portfolio.
• Collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders.
• Develop long-term institutional sales strategies involving gatekeepers and influencers.
• Maintain accurate business information regarding promoted products.
• Communicate sales, quality, and compliance matters within the FUJIFILM IVD organization.
• Utilize IVD reporting systems for sales opportunities, expense tracking, and reporting in Salesforce.com.
• Collaborate with the Medical Affairs Team as appropriate.
• Follow up with customers to clarify pathways and address concerns.
• Assist with i30 capital equipment placements as directed by the Director of Sales and Marketing.
• Perform other assigned responsibilities.
• Adhere to applicable regulatory, ISO, vendor credentialing, and facility requirements.
• BA/BS degree is required.
• A preference for a background in biological sciences or a related field.
• A minimum of 4 years of experience in diagnostic, pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical sales, or relevant oncology medical experience or marketing equivalent is preferred.
• Strong clinical expertise in various tumor types is preferred.
• Experience selling in an adult oncology environment is preferred.
• Prior experience in launching new products and/or indications is preferred.
• Experience with products that combine capital and companion diagnostics is preferred.
• Sales experience in diagnostic and/or genomic testing is preferred.
• Relationships with academic institutions or large oncology accounts are a plus.
• Familiarity with immunohistochemistry or next-generation sequencing is preferred.
• A scientific background and understanding of clinical trials is preferred.
• Excellent negotiation skills are required.
• A valid driver's license and a clean driving record are required.
• Willingness to travel as necessary, including overnight and/or weekend travel.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.
• Strong skills in cross-functional collaboration are required.
• A passionate and self-motivated individual is desired.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint is required.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills are essential.
• Strong written, verbal, and presentation abilities are necessary.
• An understanding of the essential components of an effective business plan and a willingness to take responsibility for performance is required.
• Ability to sit for 75–100% of applicable work time.
• Ability to use hands and fingers to feel and manipulate items, including keyboards, for up to 100% of applicable work time.
• Ability to stand, talk, and hear for 75% of applicable work time.
• Ability to lift and carry up to fifteen (15) pounds for up to 20% of applicable work time.
• Close vision: the ability to see clearly at twenty inches or less.
• Willingness to travel 75% of the time.
• Must comply with vendor credentialing requirements for access to hospitals and facilities.
• Must adhere to applicable U.S. FDA medical device regulatory standards, ISO 13485 requirements, and other relevant laws, regulations, and standards.
• Must be prepared to undergo periodic COVID-19 testing and wear a face covering indoors as required, unless legally exempted.
• Variable compensation opportunity up to $54,000.
