This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities to surpass revenue objectives.
• Oversee various priorities through a comprehensive, strategic, and actionable territory business plan.
• Enhance market share and boost utilization among current accounts while attracting new users.
• Surpass territory sales quotas and achieve revenue and profitability targets.
• Establish trusted relationships with customers and cultivate Key Opinion Leaders.
• Develop champions and navigate the VAC process to influence clinical preference practices.
• Transition disruptive technology from a non-existent market share to full market share.
• Present effectively and persuade cross-functional teams without formal authority.
• Collaborate with leadership to ensure successful contracting outcomes in the territory.
• Maintain a thorough understanding of products, clinical applications, and market dynamics.
• Educate on the safe and effective use of Teleflex emergency medicine products via customer training, product in-services, skills days, and trade shows.
• Utilize Salesforce.com and Power BI to uphold account profiles, manage pipelines, and provide accurate forecasts.
• Analyze business trends and make informed decisions to manage and expand territory sales.
• Submit expense reports and other required documentation punctually.
• Maintain necessary facility credentials for access to hospitals and medical facilities.
• Act as the primary contact for emergency medicine physicians, trauma surgeons, interventionalists, nurses, and paramedics from initial outreach through order fulfillment.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred, or a minimum of 8 years of relevant medical device sales experience with a proven record of success.
• At least four years of prior medical device sales experience is expected, demonstrating a successful track record.
• Experience in operating rooms, trauma, and emergency medicine is ideal.
• Proven history of successfully selling disruptive technology and expanding market share.
• Capability to carry a detail bag weighing up to 20 lbs. and lift equipment weighing up to 30 lbs.
• Must be able to stand or walk for 6 to 10 hours per day, up to five days a week.
• Proficient in computer technology and the Microsoft Office suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams.
• Must possess a clean driving license.
• Hunter mentality; self-motivated; able to work both independently and collaboratively while managing multiple projects in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
• Strong skills in teamwork, change management, emotional intelligence, and resilience.
• Required to establish and maintain credentials through RepTrax, Vendormate, and similar systems for hospital access.
• Travel is required: 25–50%, based on customer needs.
• Must be fluent in all company product indications and applications, exhibiting strong clinical and technical knowledge.
• Understanding of healthcare economics, GPOs, IDNs, and corporate and healthcare contracting processes.
• Knowledge of competitors’ technologies and strategies.
• Proficiency in Salesforce.com and Power BI is necessary.
