This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kansas, +1 more state.
• Develop new business opportunities and enhance existing ones to boost regional profits.
• Assist in creating marketing strategies that support sales initiatives.
• Cultivate relationships with prospective clients to build trust and rapport.
• Foster connections with modular-building manufacturers and subcontractors for transportation, installation, and service.
• Showcase product knowledge and provide solutions that align with customer needs.
• Adhere to established sales processes and project-implementation protocols.
• Ensure outstanding customer service throughout the entire project lifecycle.
• Keep accurate records of customer quotes, specifications, and special requests in the division database.
• Meet daily requirements for database entries.
• Build relationships within networking organizations and industry associations.
• Achieve or surpass sales targets and objectives.
• Work both remotely and in the field to meet customers, prospect, and network across Western Missouri, Kansas, and Nebraska.
• Collaborate with various departments to provide precise estimates and ensure proper project execution.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in sales.
• Willingness to travel within the territory as required, including some overnight trips.
• Strong negotiation and closing skills.
• Understanding of the sales process and its dynamics.
• Dedication to providing excellent customer service.
• Exceptional communication skills; able to convey ideas effectively in verbal, email, and other written forms.
• Capability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
• High motivation and a genuine passion for sales.
• Proficient in Microsoft Suite, Internet applications, and other customer databases.
• Strong interpersonal skills, ability to build rapport, attention to detail, and outstanding organizational abilities.
• Proven experience in a process-driven environment.
• Demonstrated skills in project management and time management.
• Ability to make decisions within established guidelines.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a permanent basis.
• Required to obtain the HCD Commercial Coach Salesperson License within 10 weeks of the start date, where applicable.
• Pre-employment drug testing, including for marijuana, is mandatory for this safety-sensitive role.
• Previous experience in construction, modular, related industries, or rental industries is a plus.
• Commission Bridge support during the ramp-up phase.
