This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.
• Drive new business growth and enhance NuSil’s footprint in the medical device sector within a designated territory.
• Cultivate strategic relationships with current clients while managing significant, high-visibility accounts that are strategically important.
• Oversee the entire sales process from initial prospecting to closing deals.
• Assess customer needs, effectively position NuSil’s value proposition, and provide solution-oriented offerings.
• Implement high-level engagement strategies for intricate, high-value accounts.
• Lead strategic initiatives that promote customer success and align with company goals.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and regional stakeholders.
• Own the revenue performance within your assigned territory and strive to meet or surpass sales and growth objectives.
• Drive customer acquisition through prospecting, lead generation, prompt response to inbound leads, and effective pipeline management.
• Conduct discovery sessions, develop proposals, deliver presentations, negotiate, and finalize sales.
• Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline utilizing Salesforce and digital prospecting tools like LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
• Recommend NuSil solutions that align with customer R&D, production, and quality standards.
• Develop plans for territory and account growth.
• Establish accurate sales forecasts and achieve annual revenue targets.
• Promote NuSil’s product range across various applications and market segments.
• Identify opportunities for cross-selling and upselling within existing client accounts.
• Forge relationships with key decision-makers and influencers.
• Collaborate with Sales Management, Marketing, Research & Development, Product Management, Planning, and Operations.
• Represent NuSil at client locations, industry events, and trade shows.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and gather customer feedback.
• Relay application requirements, market trends, and competitive insights to internal teams.
• Maintain professionalism, responsiveness, and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Perform additional duties as required.
• A Bachelor's degree in science, engineering, or business is preferred.
• 5+ years of B2B sales experience in a consultative, solution-oriented selling environment is required.
• Preference will be given to candidates residing near the Boston area.
• Willingness to travel 30–50% to customer sites, trade shows, and industry events.
• Proven success in new business development and achieving growth targets.
• Demonstrated ability in prospecting, closing deals, and increasing revenue in technical or complex sales environments.
• Experience in selling to technical, scientific, manufacturing, medical device, aerospace, or advanced materials sectors is strongly preferred.
• Strong commercial acumen with the ability to prospect, create opportunities, and close new business.
• Capability to engage and influence business owners, engineers, technical leaders, and executive decision-makers.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
• Strong analytical and strategic selling abilities within complex customer organizations.
• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and prioritize high-impact activities within a territory.
• Proficiency in CRM systems, including Salesforce.com, as well as digital and social selling tools.
• Capability to translate technical information into clear business value propositions.
• Ability to manage multiple opportunities concurrently in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment.
