Sales Representative, Aftermarket

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Generate and capture cross-brand demand for ASSA ABLOY's mechanical and electromechanical products.

• Drive product sales within the designated aftermarket channel community, which includes wholesalers, security professionals, and systems integrators.

• Engage with decision-makers and influencers.

• Execute aftermarket sales objectives.

• Collaborate with local sales teams.

• Formulate a territory-specific aftermarket strategy.

• Evaluate and report on industry trends, market conditions, and competitive activities.

• Monitor projects, collaborate with the team, and carry out sales activities.

• Serve customers in healthcare, educational institutions, military, and commercial building environments.


⛳️ Requirements

• A college or university degree is preferred, particularly in architectural design/engineering, construction science/management, or a similar field, or equivalent work experience along with a minimum high school/GED diploma.

• A minimum of 2–3 years of relevant industry experience in generating and achieving sales results for end users and channel partners in the aftermarket channel.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

• Experience in utilizing and maintaining CRM tools for sales and activity tracking.

• Familiarity with industry-related software is advantageous.

• An entrepreneurial mindset and a passion for selling door opening solutions.

• Detail-oriented, organized, and possesses strong follow-up skills.

• Capable of managing time and projects efficiently.

• Strong communication, active listening, and negotiation abilities.

• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.

• Competence in reading and interpreting specifications and facility standards.

• Technical and sales aptitude related to the industry.

• Willingness to travel to meet customer needs.

• Ability to operate in a home office setting or while traveling.

• Capacity to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. of sample and display materials.

• Residency or ability to work in North Texas/Dallas, Texas, United States.
